The Dashboard is a TradingView-powered workspace. It is open to everyone, including visitors without an account. Pro features inside it are locked individually rather than the whole page being gated.
Chart Configuration
Timeframes
Intervals run from 10-minute bars up to 2-year bars: 10m, 30m, 1h, 4h, 12h, then 1D, 2D, 3D, 5D, 10D, 1W, 2W, 1M, 2M, 3M, 6M, 12M, 1Y and 2Y. Intraday intervals appear only for assets whose data export includes them, so some assets are daily and above only.
Free accounts see a limited intraday window and the top bar says so, for example "Showing the last 30 days of intraday data". Scrolling an intraday chart back past its coverage automatically switches to daily bars and shows a toast; that is expected behaviour, not a failure.
Chart Types
Candlestick (default), line, area, Heikin Ashi and hollow candles.
Drawing Tools
The full TradingView toolkit: trend lines and channels, Fibonacci retracements, horizontal levels and text annotations.
Adding Indicators
On-chain studies
The left Onchain Metrics sidebar is the ChartInspect-specific part. Search a metric and click it to overlay it on price. Each study has its own controls: smoothing (SMA or EMA), a USD or BTC denomination toggle, a balance-tier selector and an age-cohort selector.
Standard technical indicators
RSI, MACD, Stochastic, Bollinger Bands and the moving-average family come from TradingView, under the chart toolbar's Indicators button. That button is available to Pro members.
Study templates
Save an indicator combination as a template and reapply it later.
Assets
An asset strip runs horizontally under the top bar. Click any asset to switch the chart, or use the asset dropdown in the top bar. The strip is a fixed list, it is not an editable watchlist.
Layouts
When you are signed in, each asset keeps its own saved layout on our servers, covering indicators, drawings, interval and price-scale settings. Switching assets loads that asset's layout. Signed-out sessions are not saved.
There is also a Share dashboard button in the top bar that serializes your live layout into a shareable link.
Alerts
Click the bell icon in the top bar to open the Alerts panel, which can be docked to the left or right side. Click Create Alert, choose the asset and condition, and save. A pulsing dot on the bell means an alert has fired. Alerts require Pro, see Setting Up Telegram Alerts.
Keyboard Shortcuts
To save a screenshot locally, use your operating system's screenshot tool. The Download button in the top bar shows the exact key combination for your platform. To hide the metrics sidebar, use the panel button in the top bar.
Tips
- Start simple: two or three studies, then add more as you need them
- Use templates: save indicator combinations you return to
- Multi-screen: open a second browser tab to compare two timeframes
- Set alerts: let alerts watch levels so you do not have to
- Prune: clear unused studies and drawings, they persist per asset
