Setting Up Discord Alerts

Connect a Discord channel with OAuth, choose Discord per alert, and manage delivery.

Updated 2026-08-152 min read#discord #alerts #notifications

Discord alert delivery is available to active ChartInspect Pro subscribers. Delivery is re-checked at send time, so if a subscription lapses, Discord sends stop even for alerts that already exist.

Connect a Channel

  1. Open Settings > Telegram & Discord.
  2. Select Connect Discord.
  3. Authorize on Discord and choose the server channel that should receive alerts. This is a full OAuth flow, there is no webhook URL to paste by hand. Discord creates the webhook and ChartInspect stores it encrypted.
  4. Confirm that the ChartInspect test message appears in that channel.

You need permission to add a webhook to the channel you pick.

Choose Which Alerts Use Discord

Open an alert's Notifs tab and enable or disable Discord notification. Email and in-app notifications remain enabled. Existing alerts default to Discord enabled so connecting a channel activates them automatically.

Pause or Disconnect

Use Pause delivery to temporarily stop all Discord sends without removing the channel. Disconnect permanently removes the ChartInspect webhook from Discord.

If Discord deletes or invalidates a webhook, ChartInspect automatically pauses the destination. Reconnect it from Settings to restore delivery.

Note

Discord is an alert delivery integration. There is no ChartInspect Discord community server; the community channel is Telegram.
