About Dominance-Weighted MVRV
Bitcoin's MVRV (market price divided by aggregate realized price / cost basis) multiplied by BTC market dominance. It answers a single question no plain valuation metric does: is Bitcoin stretched above its cost basis WHILE also soaking up market share? Cycle tops are most dangerous when both are true, high MVRV plus rising dominance (capital rotating defensively into BTC). Bottoms show the mirror image: BTC cheap versus cost basis while capital has fled to alts, dragging dominance down. Unlike dividing realized price by dominance (which has no clean economic meaning), multiplying two ratios keeps the output unitless and comparable across history. Daily since April 2013, joined from on-chain realized-price data and ChartInspect's own daily dominance pipeline.
