On-Chain Metrics
Combines multiple on-chain momentum indicators into composite metrics: Binary Consensus (% of indicators bullish) and Weighted Momentum Score. Features adjustable weights per indicator and heatmap visualization showing individual indicator signals.
Bitcoin Composite Momentum aggregates multiple on-chain momentum indicators into two summary metrics. The first, Binary Consensus, measures the percentage of the underlying indicators currently signaling bullish, giving a simple breadth reading of how many momentum signals agree at once. The second, the Weighted Momentum Score, combines the same indicators using adjustable per-indicator weights, so signals you consider more reliable can carry more influence in the composite.
The chart pairs these two composites with a heatmap that displays each individual indicator's signal, so you can see not only where the aggregate stands but which specific components are driving it. When many cells in the heatmap turn bullish together, Binary Consensus rises toward full agreement; when signals diverge, the consensus reading falls and the weighted score reflects the balance of the stronger-weighted inputs. Adjusting the weights lets you tune the composite to emphasize the momentum indicators that matter most to your framework.
Use Composite Momentum to gauge the breadth and conviction of Bitcoin's on-chain momentum rather than relying on any single indicator. Broad agreement across the heatmap alongside a high consensus reading points to aligned momentum, while a fractured heatmap warns that the underlying signals are in conflict and the trend is less confirmed.
Check the selected asset, units, and cohort before comparing readings. Compare the metric over consistent dates and use related measures to understand what contributes to a change.
Addresses and on-chain cohorts do not identify individual people. Network designs and available histories differ, so a threshold observed on one asset may not transfer to another.
